Founded by Michael and Alexis

Sunstone Style was born out of a bold leap of faith. Michael, drawn to the city's unique charm and rich history, felt a deep calling to Charleston. Despite having never visited before, he trusted that God had a plan. With unwavering faith, Michael and Alexis packed their bags and relocated from their hometown of Hampton Roads, Virginia.

Michael truly believed God had a plan for him to sow and serve the community, but he wasn't sure how or what to do about it. It was in Charleston that he discovered his purpose and found the means to make a positive impact.

After meeting people with similar stories from all different backgrounds in the USA and abroad, Michael and Alexis realized they were part of something bigger.

One day, Michael took Alexis shopping and watched her and other women choose similar clothing items. He thought, "It would be nice to be on the other side of that, making money instead of my wife spending it." This led him to the idea of starting an online clothing store and giving back to the community. Together, Alexis leading the creative and clothing side while Michael manages the business behind the scenes, they started Sunstone Style with only a small dream and big faith.

Sunstone Style is more than just an online clothing store. Our mission is to host or help with social events that bring the community together. Our founders know firsthand what it's like to move to a city where no one knows who you are.
